Poker is often associated with a rather unhealthy lifestyle but Cyndy Violette is an exception to this. She is a vegetarian and works out on a regular basis.

Quote: "When I got married and was pregnant with my daughter, I started to play poker just to kill time. I started to deal poker, and I did that for about 6 months, and then I went to play a poker tournament in Lake Tahoe. I did really well, so after that I never came back to work. I have now been playing for 21 years professionally, except for 2 years when I was married to my second husband who didn't want me to play poker."
Poker fans about Cyndy Violette: "Cyndy is a genuine class act who treats people with respect, both on and off the felt. And she is a good player as well. Those with bad things to say about her obviously haven't done their research properly."

"I think Violette is clearly overrated as a poker player. Jennifer Harman and Annie Duke are much better."

"Cyndy Violette is without any doubt whatsoever one of the best Seven-Card Stud players in the world today."
