Room: Party Poker

Great promotions

There is a constant flow of players at Party Poker, but the loyal customers are still generously rewarded. Frequent player points are given and there are many re-deposit promotions and other special offers for the regular players. This poker room also has a membership referral scheme. The biggest promotion is undoubtedly the annual PartyPoker.com Million, but there are many other tournaments as well. Many of them are played with fixed limits.

Large player volume –many loose games

Party Poker is the largest online poker room in the world today. In total around 40,000 real money players visit Party Poker during prime time. A lot of these players are beginners and gamblers, with limited poker skills. This means that you always will be able to find loose games with weak competition – in ring games and tournaments and in all the major playing forms, Texas Hold’em, Omaha and 7-Card-Stud. There are actually rather soft games with stakes as high as $30-$60.

Software updates made

The software has been one of Party Poker’s downsides but after several upgrades it’s now pretty good. It’s not the most nicely looking but the games run smoothly despite the large player volume and the functionality is solid. You’re can play at four tables at once at Party Poker but some important information, like view flop percentages, and average pot sizes, are missing from the lobby. The personal statistics are not very elaborate either, but a player notes function is available.
