Poker Tip # 6

One of the most overlooked, but an essential quality of a successful professional poker player, is confidence. The professional player knows how intimidating a player with unshakeable confidence can be. The true professional acts equally confident whether losing or winning, whether betting the nuts (the very best hand) or absolute rags (likely the very worst hand).

Although it is true that even world champions will at times go on tilt and loose their composure, they generally recover more quickly than most players and soon return to playing confident (winning) poker.

Strive to exhibit (outwardly at least) supreme confidence in your every poker move (no matter how stupid that move actually is).

This is particularly important when execution a bluff of semi-bluff.
